Try the farming board here on guru's - just keep in mind that the 10/25 update changed a lot of things.

Do the repeatable quests and sell the jade. You also get 150g per quest. You can find the available repeatable quests on Guildwiki, but on the Luxon side, you will likely want to do The Jade Arena or the Luxon Army Recruit quest, whatever it's called.

play a little father into the game and after the mission gayala hatchery and in rheas crater is where many greens drop on the luxon side. your better off playing through the kurzick side and farming eternal grove and those areas...lots of nice stuff there. im not sure where but somewhere on luxon side onis drop the ungues of the oni. do chests runs anywhere around in the jade sea/echovlid forest. also after you get to imperial sanctum, which is the last mission, do chest runs out there. very rare things such as diamon/irridescant aegis and golden phoenix blades drop there.

Theres a really easy to way to get cash fast. Go to Shing Jea and spam: Need 50g for storage. Do it for three weeks straight and you should have 1-3k

There is another 2 repeatables, one outside Eredon Terrace and another outside Breaker Hollow, at Mount Qinkai (The opposite exit to the one leading to Archapelagos). These simply require you to root out some Kurzick spy groups and kill them. The Mount Qinkai one is easier. |

I'd have to say that you're response is by far the worst response that I've ever read here on guru, you are telling someone who asked an honest question about how to get money and you choose to tell him to scam people unacceptable. to the OP: do as the several other people have stated, repeatable quests, farm bosses for greens, PICK UP ALL YOUR DROPS and sell them to the merchant do Alliance Battles to farm either Luxon or Kurzick faction and trade in for Jade or Amber then sell to players or merchant, but please, use your common sense and know that scamming is wrong and you should never scam anyone no matter how much gold it is you can be banned for it. |

I'd just have to *guess* that was a joke, earn 1000 - 3000 gold in three weeks? Think about it, it was humor. Or at least an attempt at such.

Don't worry I would never scam...I also took it as a bad attempt at humor

oh come on, surely you've read worse responses - you've been a forum member as long as I have! =)
To the OP = You read the farming boards and you learned that you haven't reached the good spots yet. SO GO REACH THE GOOD SPOTS! If its not listed in the farming forum, then it either isn't good, or its so top secret that nobody is going to tell you no matter where you post. Common sense FTW! |

We all want cash fast.
Go repetitively into varying areas time and time again collecting whatever drops. Try to fit in a boss with at least a slightly desirable green. Hone your running skills and take people on town tours where available. |

Farming has become a nuisance since that major update that A-net did right before the Nightfall release where everything that strikes seems to be counted as an AOE spell, also it really depends what your primary farming character is. I know my ranger has made me quite a bit of money farming UW and my warrior made me an equal ammount farming FoW, which I personally stopped farming there when Obsidian Shards dropped below 4 platinum. Other then that, your best bet is to stick to farming bosses and selling the weapons to other who have Nightfall and are trying to equip their multitude of Heros with weapons. Other then that, just play the game and have fun with it, you've still got half the game in front of you to enjoy! |

I don't even consider that scamming. There are people in Shing Jae that are too lazy to go out and kill a couple lvl 1's and 2's that sit in town for half an hour begging for 50g. I take it as a joke and a poke at the loser beggars in Shing Jae.

If you have extra weapons or items you don't need. Try and sell them for gold. Or start farming for certain materials to create some profits for your characters.

I'm not much of a farmer, but when I'm desperate, I take my Assassin out with 2 or 3 henchies to Pongmei Valley. Nice and easy and tend to make 1K in gold and merch trades.
